Clay Bar 100 g is a decontamination material for mechanical deep cleaning of paintwork that helps remove these deposits and returns a perfectly smooth feel to the surface.

When the paint looks clean, but still feels rough to the touch

Run your hand over the washed paintwork. If you feel small bumps and the surface is not perfectly smooth, there is still contamination left on it. Clay Bar helps to mechanically lift it from the surface and remove metal particles, industrial fallout, tree sap, and other firmly bonded dirt.

Decontamination significantly improves the feel of the surface and creates a better base for subsequent polishing. For heavy asphalt or iron deposits, we recommend first using a suitable chemical remover and finishing any residual contamination with the clay.

An essential step before polishing and protection

If you start polishing contaminated paintwork, trapped dirt can break loose during work and unnecessarily stress the surface. Likewise, wax or ceramic protection works best on a perfectly clean and smooth base.

Therefore, use Clay Bar as the final decontamination step before paint correction or the application of protection. When working, always use plenty of clay lubricant or a suitable quick detailer so that the material glides freely over the surface without unnecessary friction.

Instructions for use

1. Thoroughly wash and rinse the vehicle.
2. Apply a sufficient amount of clay lubricant or a concentrated car shampoo solution to a small section of the paint.
3. Lightly glide the clay over the surface without applying heavy pressure.
4. As soon as the working area gets dirty, fold the material to reveal a clean side.
5. Once finished, wipe the surface with a clean microfiber towel or rinse it off.

If the clay falls on the ground, do not continue using it on the paintwork.
