Detailers and sealants are the fastest way to add gloss and a hydrophobic effect to paint without the tedious application of wax or ceramic coatings. The main difference between them is durability – you spray a quick detailer and wipe it off with a microfiber cloth in a few minutes for an immediate but shorter-lasting effect, while a sealant creates a thinner protective layer on the paint with longer durability lasting for weeks.
