Mixing bottles and measuring cups

Accurate dilution determines whether a concentrate works as intended or simply goes to waste. In this category, you’ll find mixing bottles with graduations for precisely diluting shampoos, APC cleaners, or quick detailers; measuring cups for accurately dosing concentrates according to the recommended ratio; and manual pressure sprayers and foamers for applying cleaner or thick foam over a larger area without constantly squeezing the trigger. All products are made from chemical-resistant materials, so they can withstand even stronger solvents without being damaged.

How to properly dilute and dose car care products

Estimating dilution “by eye” can easily go wrong in either direction – too little concentrate means a weaker effect, while too much wastes product and can even worsen the results for some products (streaks, residue after drying).

Mixing bottles

The markings on the bottle show you exactly how much water and concentrate to use, without having to calculate or guess. The adjustable nozzle lets you switch between a fine mist for a quick refresh, a stronger stream for a more thorough application, or foam, depending on the product.

Measuring cups

For concentrates that need to be diluted at a precise ratio (e.g. 1:10 or 1:20), a measuring cup is more reliable than estimating with the bottle cap – you’ll save product and money and get the same results every time.

Hand-pump pressure sprayers

Unlike a standard trigger bottle, you pressurize a pump sprayer beforehand and then simply hold down the lever – saving your hand when treating a larger area (an entire car, several wheels at once) and providing a more even, continuous spray.

Hand-pump foam sprayers

A foam sprayer creates thick foam from car shampoo without a pressure washer or foam cannon – ideal for pre-washing if you don’t have a foam attachment for your pressure washer, or as an add-on for quickly washing smaller areas.

What to look out for when choosing a sprayer

Different versions (e.g. ALK, HC or ACID in the name) have seals designed to withstand specific types of chemicals – alkaline, highly concentrated or acidic products. Using an unsuitable sprayer with aggressive chemicals can damage the seals, so always choose one based on the type of product you’ll use most often.

How to dilute concentrates correctly

Fill the bottle with water first, then add the concentrate – this prevents excessive foaming and helps you get the ratio right. Lukewarm water also helps the concentrate dissolve better than cold water.

Labeling and organizing bottles

If you have several diluted products at once, it’s worth labeling the bottles – this prevents mix-ups, especially if you use clear bottles for multiple products with similar colors.
