Wheels and tyres are among the most heavily used parts of a car – brake dust, iron fallout and road grime build up on them with every drive and can gradually damage the wheels’ finish and dry out the rubber. Regular cleaning and protection are therefore about more than just appearance: above all, they help keep your wheels and tyres in good condition for as long as possible.
In this category, you’ll find wheel cleaners, from gentle pH-neutral formulas with a bleeding effect to stronger alkaline options and iron removers for iron fallout; tyre protectants and dressings in both classic and ceramic formulas for long-lasting results; and ceramic wheel protection, which makes it harder for dirt to stick to your wheels. Brushes and applicators round out the range, helping you take your wheel and tyre care down to the last detail.
Wheels and tires each have different needs – rims primarily need an effective cleaner for brake dust and rust, while tires need a dressing that protects the rubber from drying out and cracking.
Wheel cleaners by type of dirt
Wheel Cleaner Bleeding and Nuke Guys FELGENGEL are pH-neutral cleaners with a colour-changing (bleeding) effect – they show you directly on the wheel how much iron fallout has accumulated on it. For heavier dirt, use the alkaline Wheel Cleaner Neon, and if rust is your main concern, reach for a specialised iron remover such as Gyeon Q²M Iron REDEFINED or Auto Finesse Iron Out.
Tire dressing and protection
Classic dressings such as Nuke Guys REIFENGEL or Tire & Rubber Cleaner restore a deep black colour to tires, while ceramic options such as Gyeon Q2 Tire or CERAMIC Tyre Dressing keep the effect for significantly longer and offer better resistance to rain.
Ceramic wheel protection
Gyeon Q2 Rim EVO or Infinity Wax Synergy Revolution creates a ceramic layer on the rims, making brake dust less likely to stick and cleaning much quicker.
Brushes and applicators
A microfibre wheel brush or tire applicator is also useful for complete care – you can find a wider selection of brushes in the separate Wheel and Tire Brushes category.
