Thorough preparation makes all the difference

Always apply wax to clean, dry and decontaminated paintwork. Dirt, tar, embedded iron particles or remnants of old protection can prevent the wax from bonding evenly and reduce its durability.

Before application, we recommend washing the car with a pH-neutral shampoo and, depending on the condition of the paintwork, carrying out both chemical and mechanical decontamination. On a properly prepared surface, the wax spreads more easily, wipes off more evenly and can deliver its full protective potential.

How to apply

1. Wash the vehicle thoroughly with a pH-neutral car shampoo and dry it.
2. Remove embedded iron particles, tar and other firmly bonded contaminants from the paintwork, then decontaminate the surface with a clay bar.
3. Pick up a very small amount of wax with the included applicator.
4. Apply a thin, even coat in straight, overlapping strokes.
5. Allow the wax to bond to the paintwork for approximately 5–7 minutes. In higher ambient temperatures, less time may be needed.
6. Wipe off any residue with a clean, dry microfibre cloth.
7. Turn the cloth frequently to a clean side or switch to a fresh cloth as you wipe.

A coat that is too thick will not improve protection and will only make it harder to wipe off. With Fusso Coat, less product means easier application and a cleaner finish.
